Top Services Using Single Sign-On (SSO)

Northeastern's Single Sign-On

Northeastern’s single sign-on (SSO) allows you to access all authorized applications and resources by only logging in once. Once you log in to an online application that uses SSO, such as myNortheastern, you will be able to conveniently access other university online resources without needing to log in again for each resource.

Beginning summer 2019, services using SSO may now be used even more securely using two-factor authentication (2FA).

Below is a list of some of the most frequently used university websites and services that use SSO. This is not a complete list.

  • Banner services
  • Blackboard
  • Concur
  • Courseleaf
  • LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com)
  • myNortheastern portal
  • Northeastern G Suite services (including Gmail)
  • SAIL
  • Salesforce
  • Scholar OneSearch
  • ServiceNow

Need Some Help?

All Northeastern University community members who have an account to access university systems and services online are being required to enroll in 2FA. These community members should expect to use 2FA to log in to an increasing number of the university’s most frequently used sites.

Check out the Commonly Asked Questions page for additional questions and answers regarding the university’s 2FA requirement.
